Tickets

There are two prices for Festival events:

  • Free – any event for children, or any event taking place at a library or the Ravensbourne Arms
  • £4 – all others

Half of all tickets for paying events will be available to book online via wegottickets.com. They won’t issue you with paper tickets; instead they’ll email you a code. You will need to bring this code with you to show on the door.

Wegottickets.com charges a 10% booking fee (or minimum charge 50p). This is their fee – we don’t see any of it. You can add as many tickets to your ‘basket’ as you like before you pay.

If you prefer not to pay booking fees there will be face value tickets available on the door for all paying events. But we know some people like the security of bagging tickets in advance.

For free events – just turn up! We’ve tried to tell you when the doors open for each event.

Now, why not take a look at the full Festival programme and decide what to see?

Refunds / cancellations

If you suddenly realise you can’t attend an event, tickets are non-refundable – but wegottickets.com does let you ‘reallocate’ your tickets to someone else. They explain how to do it in their FAQs.

If an event is cancelled, wegottickets.com will refund your money – minus booking fees. We’ll only cancel an event if all guests drop out or the event physically can’t take place. We’re afraid that your favourite author not being able to attend doesn’t qualify you for a refund.
